about jss malappuram

As the word denotes, we aim to give mental pleasure and a state of security feeling to these marginalized women of our society by enabling them to earn for a living on their own- thus self-reliant. Here, we ensure them 5 days job in a week and one day personality development programmes like Yoga, Counseling classes, Cultural programmes etc. A minimum pay of Rs. 200 per day is assured during these 5 days. We started a job work of environment friendly ‘non-woven cloth bag’ making.

Tribal Literacy Programme

Total Literacy Programme was introduced in Chaliyar Grama Panchayath in 2007-08 in association with Grama Panchayath and District Literacy Mission and Jilla Panchayath, since the tribal population is mainly concentrated here. There were 1050 beneficiaries in 50 classes of Total Tribal Literacy Programme and 205 beneficiaries in 12 classes of Tribal 4th Standard Equivalency Programme
